Making your own Christmas wreaths is a great way to add decorative flair for the holidays. A wreath outside the door greets your guests with the holiday spirit before you even welcome them inside. And wreaths are easy to make. All it takes is a circular base, an object to repeat around the circle, and a glue gun.

Here are three Christmas wreaths you can make yourself:

Here’s how to make a Christmas wreath from round tree ornaments by Shelterness. It takes a wire hanger for the base, a glue gun, and 80 round ornaments. When you’re done, you can reuse this wreath from year to year.

Martha Stewart suggests making a wreath out of presents. This is great if you happen to have a lot of ring and other trinket boxes lying around. You could also wrap each present with paper to get a different effect.

Finally, here’s a wreath made out of cinnamon sticks by My Home Ideas. They suggest using a wooden wreath ring that you can buy at a craft store, but I wonder if a cardboard ring you make yourself would work just as well? In any case, this wreath is sure to smell good in your home.
