It’s snowing in 49 states right now, every one except Florida. It is not snowing where I am in California, but if it were, I would try making snow ice cream right away.

Apparently, snow ice cream is very easy to make. All you do is get yourself some snow and mix it with cream, sugar, and vanilla. Get it? Snow + cream = ice cream.

Here’s a recipe from Good Bite and another from Paula Deen to get you started. Whatever you do, make sure to use snow from the top of the pile–and make sure that it isn’t yellow.

What do you do to make the most out of snow?

Ha, looks like you corrected the awkward sentence I read today in the NY Times:

There was now snow on the ground in every single one of the 50 states — including Hawaii, which had snowfall on one of its volcanoes — except for Florida.
