Mermaid Tail Sleeping Bag

Whenever I swaddle Savvy Jr. for the night, I always think of mermaids–er, mermans, I guess. So I enjoyed this Mermaid Tail Sleeping Bag for babies from newborn to 12 months.

The sleeping bag is 100% Lambswool and “super soft,” but rather expensive at £75.00. Still, it’s a great idea.

I don’t think that would be terribly hard to make- Ravelry.com has a few patterns for knitters or crocheters to buy, although sometimes designers put them out for free.. (Around $5.00 for the pattern is pretty reasonable, and one or two skeins of yarn at about $5.00 each makes it pretty affordable if you’re handy with a hook or needles!)

Christy, yeah, it doesn’t look hard at all to sew either. It would be a great gift for someone.
