Natural Easter Egg Dying

I haven’t dyed Easter eggs since I was a kid, but I have to say it’s pretty impressive the colors people get from natural things like onions and beets. Martha Stewart has a section about dying Easter eggs, if you haven’t done it yet this year. She suggests red onions for sienna eggs, red cabbage for bluish eggs, coffee for brown eggs, beets for pink eggs, turmeric for yellow eggs, and onion skins for that nice marbled look. Read her technique here. (Via Inhabitots)
